Inside Paint!!!!

This week was a big one for my house... CertaPro Painters went to town & painted ceilings, molding, trim and walls. The inside of my house is fully painted and it looks awesome! Seeing what an impact color makes reconfirms how important these decisions were. I ended up picking most everything on my own, with the exception of a few colors based on my neighbor's suggestions. What can I say, I want what I want!

Here is the master bedroom looking in to the master bath. Walls are "greatest grape" & "elephant skin" in the bedroom, and some type of light purple in the bathrom. (The light purple isn't my favorite, but I'm waiting until the cabinets and countertops go in, and all the mess is cleaned up, to make my final decisions. I definitely can live with it so it's not a big deal.

This is the guest room, which I switched from orange to light blue. My mom, who for months has said she doesn't care what the room looks like, decided to tell me she wanted blue after I'd already picked out orange. ;) I love her! Hope you like the blue, Mom. (I do!)
This is the front entry/piano room. Love all the paint canisters on the floor. This room is the same color as the rest of the non-colorful parts of the house - granny apple white. It's got a green tint to it which is kinda neat. I will be painting this room, just not sure what yet.
Here we come across my office, which is hot pink! (Technically it's "peony" from Benjamin Moore.) Thank you IKEA for inspiring this room... I love it!
Here's the view down the East/West hallway. From the left, the rooms are: hall bath, office, guest room. I love how the colors interplay.
Here we have my kitchen! When I went back and looked at all the pictures I'd save for "inspiration" when building my house, they looked like this. It was always a green or blue backsplash, and I'm happy to say that I love this color green. ("green energy" to be exact.) I opted not to go with a tile backsplash and instead paint everything, which not only saved some money but allows me to change things up when I get bored. (Yes, I said "when" and not "if." I know myself!)
Lastly, this is the front wall in the living room, framing my window seat. It is the same green as the kitchen and I just love how it makes the wall pop!
I am very happy with my colors! I feel bad because I commissioned Jen to help me and then just did my own thing anyway. I don't think she'll be mad though, she understands I'm a bit wild about color.
